Though some strollers have cup holders, the smaller travel variety typically doesn't — and the same goes for luggage. The solution? Universal drink caddies that attach to the handles of suitcases and baby buggies.

This adjustable, universal cup holder can be clamped to any suitcase or stroller and fits most bottles and disposable coffee cups.

Then there are caddies that go above and beyond cup holders. You'll find many with cell phone slots, tech sleeves, various pockets, open compartments, and snack trays. Consider what you want yours to carry when comparing options, whether it's baby essentials, a tablet, an extra charger, or something to nosh on while you're out.
Many drink holder caddies are universal, meaning they can be attached to almost any stroller or luggage handle. Those with adjustable clamps are often the most versatile, but velcro straps can also usually fit around different handle widths.
Having said that, some caddies (such as trolley sleeves) are designed specifically for luggage and won't work on a stroller — and vice versa. Also, some stroller organizers are only compatible with a specific brand, so check the product description before buying anything.
Besides the obvious (a beverage), you can put just about anything else that'll fit in the caddy. Think about what items you want to have on hand and within reach. This might be baby essentials, snacks, a boarding pass, or hand sanitizer. It could also be things you typically keep in your purse, sling, or backpack, like a wallet, keys, sunglasses, or lip balm.
You should detach your drink holder caddy from your carry-on before boarding a plane. In most cases, you won't be able to fully retract the handle for storage in the overhead bin with it still attached. At the risk of stating the obvious, you also don't want your drinks or other items to spill out when you turn it horizontally and heave it overhead. Keep this in mind when browsing luggage caddies, and plan where to put yours when it's not attached to your suitcase.
